Charter: The Grand Lodge Committee on Foreign Correspondence shall follow, and if necessary, answer all communications from corresponding Grand Jurisdictions. At each Grand Annual Communication, a report shall be given of its yearly activities.

Duties: It shall maintain up-to-date records relating to the exchange of Grand Representatives with other Grand Jurisdictions. The Committee shall also research all requests for recognition (Fraternal Reviews) from other Grand Jurisdictions. If the review and analysis on such requests indicates that the Grand Jurisdiction initiating the request is entitled to recognition by the Grand Lodge of Virginia, the Committee shall initiate a written resolution to bring such requests to the attention of the delegates during the next ensuing Grand Annual Communication, for consideration.

Membership: The Committee shall be composed of three (3) members appointed by the Grand Master of Masons in Virginia to coordinate and oversee all fraternal reviews (requests for recognition), initiate action to summarize the Proceedings of Grand Lodges with which we are in amity, and provide a copy of our summarized Proceedings to them, as outlined in Sections 1.73(7) and 1.75(g).
