September

This October, Virginia Freemasons will open nearly 300 Masonic Lodges to the public as part of a statewide open house initiative. We ask that you invite your non-Masonic friends, family, co-workers, etc. to visit a Lodge Open House near them to learn more about the world's oldest and largest fraternal organization! Have them come visit, ask questions, and get to know our Brethren!

If they are interested in visiting an Open House event, have them go here for a schedule and map of events occurring near them!

Information on Joining Virginia Freemasonry our Masonic Charities, Ritual, History, Famous Virginia Masons, and Frequently Asked Questions is available from our website.

"The Call" to the November 2016 Grand Annual Communication has been sent out to the Lodges and published on our website.  Other information, including information about reservations, has been posted on our Grand Annual Communication page, which can be found under the Members tab and then GAC.  This page will continue to be updated with new information as it becomes available.

Masonic Family Day will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2016 on the grounds of the Masonic Home of Virginia.  Information concerning this event can be found here

Calling all Golfers!!  The James Stanley Johnson Memorial Golf Tournament is a fundraiser for our Masonic Home of Virginia, and is being held on August 11. You don't have to be a golfer to make a contribution to this worthy charity -- there is a need not only for hole sponsors, but we need gifts of golf balls and equipment, collectibles, tools, snacks and anything of value to give away. Every sponsor WILL be acknowledged. This is a great way to get the good name of a business involved with our history! If you have any questions, please contact the Brother shown on the brochure linked above.  To fill out the form on your computer, please download the form first.

The latest issues of the Masonic Herald can be found on this web page. All "Ask Hiram" articles are available on this web page.
