MAHOVA Family Day October 5, 2024

Dear Brethren and Friends:

It is that time of year again and we are planning the Annual Masonic Family Day at MAHOVA on
Saturday, October 5, 2024. Thank you for your past support of this event which celebrates our
entire fraternal family. The presence of your organization at Family Day is a highlight for all
those in attendance. Please consider entering a unit and/or float in the parade to showcase
your organization. Most importantly, encourage your members, family and friends to attend.
We will be offering guided tours of the Village units as well as Apartments inside the Adult
Home. Times will be in 30 min. increments. We hope you will sign up to take the tour as we will
be having a drawing for prizes for those who take the tour.

Our tentative schedule begins with coffee and donuts at 8:00 AM, with the parade planned to
line up between 10:00 and 10:30 AM. We are pleased to announce the landing of the Virginia
State Police rescue helicopter on our front lawn. This is very exciting for all to see. There will
be activities for all ages, so bring the kids and grandkids! This year we are offering hayrides as
well as an animal petting zoo. MAHOVA staff and volunteers will serve a barbeque lunch,
prepared by Amelia Lodge No. 101 as in years past. Remember, this lunch is not only delicious,
but FREE! After lunch we will have music and plenty of fellowship.

Friendship, Morality and Brotherly Love will be shared and enjoyed by our Masonic family and
members of all ages. Come share a day of fun and fellowship and I look forward to seeing you
